Becoming an erotic writer
I’ve never been a big fan of writing especially when I was at school. I was never able to write many words and most of my sentences were kept simplistic. My writing to this day is the same and that reflects my personality. I don’t believe in going over the top, i’m a get to the point kind of guy.
I’ve been bored with my life and always thinking of new things to try. I’ve tried many things and hobbies but I get bored easily. One thing I never get bored of is thinking about sex. I always complain to myself about how much time I ‘waste’ because most of it is looking at porn or generally learning about sex in different areas.
I’ve tried my hand at writing some erotica and I think I’m reasonably good at it. I’ve not published much stuff but I always have a shit load of ideas with inspiration coming from dreams, real life and porn. I know I can be amazing and i’d like to give it a shot but I do still need a lot of practice. I’m very lazy and just getting a story translated into words is the hardest part.
Honestly, I don’t actually read much erotica. Most of it is very boring or just totally unrealistic. I’m a big fan of realism, I love to capture and express emotion in words. Thinking about all the stuff that really happens in our lives but is kept behind closed doors. Expressing all the things we really want to do but we don’t have those people in our lives to share it with.
I’d like to carve out a niche of erotic romance that is realistic. Maybe eventually sell my work. Despite not being sexually experienced, I think my mind is way more sexually advanced than my peers and I know I can be very successful at this.
So anyone that has liked my previous writing, either my few stories or my captions, then please give me some encouragement so I can get started.
